NIMBI Shea Butter Shave Foam Puck

Seems like everywhere you look, the health & beauty industry is turning to soaps. I personally love them for my hair and also now for shaving. The puck lasts so much longer than a can of shaving cream. I also prefer a sudsy, foamy texture over heavy fragranced creams, which isn't the greatest choice when dealing with sensitive or acne prone skin. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this little shaving puck actually works. When I pulled it out I wasn't expecting much from it, I figured it would like using a bar of soap but it is not. It lathers up right away when you get it wet and you get a good amount of lather for shaving. Just a couple lathers covered my whole leg and my shave was nice and smooth and the best part is I didn't get any razor burn which I'm quite prone to getting. After using the puck it dries up pretty quickly and is back to the form it was initially. Soap bars tend to get a slimy feel to them after using but this one is solid again which keeps it in great shape. This would actually be perfect for traveling with, it's nice and small so it wouldn't take up much space and it dries up nicely so it wouldn't be messy at all.

I'm always up for trying something new in my shaving routine, and this shaving puck seems so unique. I absolutely love this puck. I did not know what to expect because I usually use a shaving cream or gel - lather, rinse, repeat to keep my skin slick and easy to shave. This puck was a game changer for me! First off, it's easy to grip. It doesn't slip out of my hands. Secondly, a little lather goes a long way! I moistened my skin, moistened the puck, and then rubbed it in between my hands to create a nice foam. That foam then made the area slick and ready for razor contact. Once the shaving process began, I never noticed any irritation or redness (once hairs have been removed and the skin is sensitive). After shaving, my legs felt clean, clear, and soft. I will absolutely be purchasing a new Nimbi puck once this one is gone. I am curious to see how long they last - I've shaved with mine 2x over the course of 7 days and the size has barely diminished.

It also leaves your skin feeling really soft and smooth after. I have really dry and sensitive skin, especially in the winters or when it is cold. This puck really helps my skin feel hydrated after each use. The smell of the puck is very neutral so there is no strong or off-putting scent. There is a slight scent of the Shea butter but that is about it and it is not over bearing or bothersome. There is honestly nothing I would change about this product. I think it is perfect for dry and scaly skin because it makes your skin feel protected as well as hydrated. This is a product I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I have never used a shave bar and this is fantastic. The after effects are moisturizing as well. But the best is how the razor glides over the product and how close of a shave and smooth; it helps the razor. No irritation at all! I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. The soap has antimicrobial clay and organic shea butter which protects my skin barrier and provides for the easier shave experience. Love how well it lathers and how easy it is to use. Fragrance and colorant free so it does not aggravate skin...especially sensitive skin. The packaging and soap puck itself are eco-friendly. The puck form allows me to easily travel with it without worrying about TSA issues. This puck will last a while and dries nicely when done shaving. No melting!

I never knew shaving could get better, adding this shave foam puck is definitely an improvement to my shaving routine. This is solid, soap-like format, that lathers to a featherweight cream and makes my skin feel smooth and soothe. I love anything with Shea Butter and this has kaolin clay which is so hydrating to the skin. This formula helps lather and helps glide the razor easily without any cuts or bumps like most shaving products. I have really sensitive skin and have no issues at all using this shaving foam and it has no scent really if it does it’s mild not overwhelming. I really think this is a great option to shaving and much better than any shaving creams I have used in the past. I also appreciate that you can get a good amount of foam and a close shave when using this, and it doesn’t strip or irritate my skin.
